Automated, Standardized, and Efficient Workflows with the BD FACSDuet™ Sample Preparation System

Join Today's Clinical Lab and Tim Larson, PhD, to discover how your lab can incorporate fully traceable and time-saving clinical flow cytometry workflows

     Tim Larson, PhD
Tim Larson, PhD, leads product management for the FACSDuetTM and clinical sample preparation product line at BD Biosciences. He received his BS and PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, where he developed optical contrast agents for molecular imaging and therapeutics. He held a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford before managing the protein science and antibody purification product lines at Takara Bio, US.

Flow cytometry is a key tool used in diagnostics, but accurate diagnosis and compliance require reliability, traceability, and efficiency. Clinical labs also encounter the following challenges when accurately preparing samples for these assays:

  • Time-consuming and error-prone workflows
  • Increase workload
  • Inability to meet turnaround time targets

Standardizing workflows through automation drives quality and efficiency, and enables labs to cope with increasing workloads and audit demands.

This webinar focuses on how automation of error-prone and labor-intensive tasks, such as reagent cocktailing and sample staining, can improve your lab's capacity and productivity. Tune in to see how to incorporate fully traceable and time-saving workflows with the BD FACSDuetTM Sample Preparation System in your lab.
