The National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity (NSABB) will convene virtually on September 21, 2022, to discuss its progress in reviewing existing US biosecurity oversight frameworks governing research with enhanced potential pandemic pathogens and dual-use research of concern. This meeting will be videocast and members of the public are encouraged to provide comments either orally or in writing.

The NSABB is a federal advisory committee chartered to provide, advice, guidance, and recommendations to the US government regarding potential biosecurity implications of life sciences research, an issue of paramount importance to the Department of Health and Human Services, the National Institutes of Health, and the broader US government.
