Readers of Dark Daily likely have noticed that when they click through to new articles, they now appear on ClinicalLab.com. That website is home to Today’s Clinical Lab, a partner brand to Dark Daily.
Why the change? The explanation has its roots back in March 2025, when LabX Media Group acquired The Dark Intelligence Group, whose brands included Dark Daily, The Dark Report, and the Executive War College conference. For its part, LabX Media Group hosts multiple websites for laboratories across various industries.
Plans slowly began forming soon after the acquisition to bring Dark Daily under the umbrella of Todays’ Clinical Lab because both brands cater to similar audiences of clinical laboratory professionals, including bench scientists and lab managers. A few weeks ago, after web developers completed behind-the-scenes updates, we formally moved Dark Daily over to the Today’s Clinical Lab site.
What’s not changing: Informative coverage of clinical lab news
With Dark Daily now on ClinicalLab.com, both brands will directly benefit from each other’s presence in one digital location. From an editorial perspective, Dark Daily will continue to deliver breaking clinical lab news and trends, much as it has for more than a decade.
We will continue to publish new Dark Daily articles on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and subscribers to our free service will still get these articles emailed to them.
For those interested in tracking new Dark Daily articles, you can find them easily at www.clinicallab.com/tag/dark-daily.
Meanwhile, we hope Dark Daily readers will explore the other leading-edge content on Today’s Clinical Lab, including our Thought Leadership Blog, in which expert voices from the medical lab industry provide insights into a variety of important topics. If you’re interested in contributing a thought leadership piece, please contact us.
What will change long term: Better site options and archive migration
Dark Daily has operated on a version of WordPress that over the years has gotten more difficult to maintain. With the move to ClinicalLab.com, Dark Daily editors will use a modern content portal that provides more reader-friendly options, including easier ways to tag articles, embed images and video, and cross-link to other relevant topics.
The old Dark Daily site still houses our archives. Migrating them over to Today’s Clinical Lab will be a massive undertaking that should happen in the second half of 2026.
We also anticipate Dark Daily webinars to move to ClinicalLab.com in the near future.
LabX Media Group is dedicated to serving the loyal audience that Dark Daily has built. If you have further questions about our plans for Dark Daily, please contact Scott Wallask, senior editorial manager, at swallask@clinicallab.com.
Thank you for continuing to support Dark Daily, and please check out the content on Today’s Clinical Lab if you haven’t already.
