Sumit Agarwal, MD, MPH, PhD, is an assistant professor at the University of Michigan Medical School and School of Public Health. As a primary care physician and health economist, his research focuses on the impacts of economic policies on health. He earned his PhD from Harvard University in 2024, master of public health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2019, and medical degree from Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in 2014.
