Michael D. Lutz, MD

Michael D. Lutz, MD, is the president and CEO of the Michigan Men’s Health Foundation and former partner at the Michigan Institute of Urology. For over 40 years, he has championed men’s health and prostate cancer awareness.

In 2009, Lutz founded the Michigan Men’s Health Foundation, which leads the Run for the Ribbon and Men’s Health Event—public initiatives providing free screenings, education, and support to thousands of men, including the uninsured.

His advocacy work has gained national and international attention. In 2016, he was invited to speak at the White House on improving men’s health access and outreach in underserved communities. Now retired from clinical practice, Lutz is focused full-time on expanding access to care through Michigan’s first mobile men’s health clinic.
