Casey Pinto, PhD, is associate professor of Public Health Sciences at Penn State. Pinto's research focuses on rural/urban disparities in the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections among adolescents. She is specifically interested in the behavioral and/or social environmental factors that are associated with STI prevalence and how these vary between rural/urban populations.
