Bridget Bagnato

Bridget Bagnato is the president, specimen management, at BD Life Sciences, driving global strategic, operational, commercial performance and customer experience across the specimen management portfolio.

Bagnato joined BD in July 2023 as vice president and general manager (VP/GM) of specimen management from the BD surgery business where she led the vision and strategic direction for the newly created Surgical Complication Solutions platform. Notably, she led the team through two new launches, expanding the intra-operative footprint across the $800M+ portfolio.  

During her nearly 25-year career at BD, Bagnato has had a variety of roles across the medical, life sciences and interventional segments. Prior to joining BD surgery, she was the VP/GM for the injection business in diabetes care where she led the team to a successful new product launch yielding significant overbudget performance while simplifying the broader portfolio. Prior to that, she led the vascular care platform as senior business director in medication delivery solutions, where the platform doubled in revenue through a focus on commercial excellence and globalization. 

Bagnato has held several upstream and downstream marketing roles including international assignments in both the UK and Singapore. She spent five years as a sales consultant at the beginning of her career with BD. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and an MBA from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business.
